Santorini is the dream of many couples but also of photographers: blue sky, blue sea and fabulous sunsets.
On July 30 2022, Chris and Dimitra chose this Greek island to fulfill their dream and I was super happy to be chosen as their photographer. My colleague Steven and I left Rome and we went to the fantastic and famous Greek island, unique for its timeless beauty and charm and for the enchanting wedding of these two Greek newlyweds.
Working as a luxury wedding photographer on this island was an amazing moment in my career, a sparkling and dazzling white that framed this couple’s day. The church is called Anastaseos ( or Church of the Resurrection of the Lord) in the village of Imerovigli: a turquoise dome surrounded by sparkling white.
The wonderful location chosen by the newlyweds – Pyrgos Restaurant – has collected the emotions of the newlyweds and all the guests. The floral decoration of the wedding – Wedding Wish Santorini – was composed of a team of specialists who include florists, stylists, and designers. With passion, elegance and style they created a perfect scene that reflected the personality of the couple.
Greece is the cradle of the oldest civilization in the Mediterranean, land of tradition and unspoilt nature. A wedding destination in Greece has meant a lot to me. It was the first time I saw Santorini and I was completely captured by its charm. A fascinating island that has certainly inspired me thanks to its scenery: intense and volcanic colors, white churches and blue domes have given freedom to my creativity.
This was one of those weddings where you worked a lot but you felt little effort. A great merit goes to the spouses who I will not stop thanking for giving us the possibility to live this wonderful experience.
