Come and dance in Puglia. Angelo and Matilde. The others don’t want me, but the marriage between Angelo and Matilde will always remain in my heart. Maybe for the Apulian welcome or maybe simply because it is thanks to them that I could venture into that wonderful land.
That weddings in the South were magical and gigantic events I had heard him say, but to be honest, I didn’t believe it until I got into it. The warmth, the welcome, the availability of all the people I met was really unique, not to mention the landscape of Cisternino, which was the setting for this wedding.
Suspended in the air between the sea and the centuries-old olive trees, imagine the procession that accompanies the beautiful bride at the altar, involving passers-by who can not turn away but rather want to pay homage to that pure joy and the triumph of love.
The Mother Church of San Nicola, the roofs of Cisternino, the bales of hay, the trulli of Alberobello and much happiness. To Angelo and Matilde I can only say thank you.
